For over 20 years, I have helped Brookdale students gain experience and develop skills that will benefit their future. Career competencies such as leadership, communication and teamwork are just a few that are necessary for success. I invite you to step outside your comfort zone, immerse yourself in a new experience, and learn what you do and don’t like. Creating a vision board is an excellent way to get started – put your future plans down on paper. Defining your career goals doesn’t have to be scary – we can help you find your path!
Career decisions can be challenging, and I am passionate about guiding students to formulate a career action plan.Visiting the Career Center should be the first stop in your Brookdale journey!
Taking the FOCUS2self-assessment, setting SMART goals, and gaining hands-on experience will develop confidence, leadership, and career readiness skills. As Co-Advisor to Brookdale’s National Society of Leadership & Success, helping students identify and develop leadership skills is inspiring.
Maintaining balance in life allows for mental and physical wellness and volunteer service is an important part of my journey. The Career Center is here to help you succeed in whatever path you choose to pursue!
